Laurel Grove was born out of a desire to help people create spaces they love and that make them happy. Our design aesthetic is eclectic with a heavy emphasis on farmhouse and vintage. We believe that design rules were meant to be broken and the most important thing in a home is that it is filled with love.
“Your home should tell the story of who you are, and be a collection of what you love, brought under one roof.” –Nate Berkus
Our shop is a special place where we hope our community can gather to find gorgeous, unique home décor and gifts and also inspiration and warmth. In it, you will find an eclectic mix of home accents and gifts ranging from vintage to handmade to new. Featuring local makers and talented artisans is “wicked” (have to get our New England in here somewhere!) important to us and we absolutely adore our shop contributors.
The original building was a small town staple that was once the farm stand or our landlord’s greenhouses. With a little elbow grease, and some continued improvements, we were been able to make it our own without compromising its integrity and charm (*ahem* wood beams). We've since grown out of that space and are now in one with just as much charm. Many say it feels like an old home. In reality, its original use was a clothing store called Country Living that many from town remember shopping as children!
We (Michelle and Kim) met through our love of vintage and are the most perfect partnership-if we do say so ourselves. Michelle is the feet-on- the-street sourcing and numbers guru while Kim is the marketing girl with a special passion and heart for community.
